Oh look. Image is producing another book that's heavy-handed political preaching with a half-assed story wrapped around it. I'm sure this series will do much better than the other fifty that are just the same.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this plot already. It's The Lobster + that one issue of Shanda the Panda where Shanda's parents were assblasted that she didn't want to date another panda.
I mean, it's not an *awful* comic... at least has better art than a good chunk of Marvel books. ...but the story is nothing really that groundbreaking or actually really that controversial. Pig girl wants wolf guy's bone, it's a metaphor for interracial/gay relationships. Which every other relationship on TV is now.
