Alright, I don't mind tracing... As long as no one's making money off of it. Some people will support tracers, saying it's kinda like a song cover ( which you can make money off ), but to me this is more like using the same recording and playing over the recording with your own cheaper instruments, burying the original sound, changing the lyrics and then selling your recording without giving any credit ( or money ) to the original composers and performers. That's simply my opinion. There are countless examples of how Pegasus has been using other works to make his comics ( look for izayoi seishin ). After a few years of activity and clearly no visible signs of 100% original drawings, it is clear this guy will always trace. I just hope that those who give him their money are aware of that fact and know how much time it takes to actually learn to draw something great versus how much time it takes to simply trace over what is actually years of work by the original artists!

Personally, I think we can welcome people back if they reflect on their mistakes in the pass. But dude, you really need to build your reputation back before putting up a paywall and try to make money out of it lol

Yall niggas is unreal. 99% of the content on this site is straight pirated with zero regard for the artist. And you want to complain because some of the artwork is traced. Do you think any of these people being paid for commissions to translate to english are paying the original artists? Like of course not.

So please come off your dumb-ass high-horses and enjoy your free porn

(Metal Gear Solid 4's "Father And Son" begins to play)

dajaska, I always thought this website was more of a platform for promotion rather than piracy.

There's a reason why other major hentai websites have disappeared in the last two years but E-Hentai remained. Lots of artists get discovered here. As a matter of fact, that's how Pegasus gained a lot of followers, by having his stuff uploaded here, and now he's making money off of it.

E-Hentai is, simply put, the best hentai site ever made. The community is great and the website is well-managed overall. Artists/publishers who want to take their works down can take them off the site ( it happens regularly btw ). There's a respect for artists, you can feel it through many comments. There are people who really have a lot of knowledge to share here. E-Hentai is a place where there's a surprisingly high number of people who spend money on adult comics, believe it or not. We just don't brag about it. It's porn, after all, so there's not much glory to it lol. There's a reason why lots of works get uploaded here before other places, just saying. I myself am a huge Aiue Oka fan, I paid for every Aiue Oka works I could get legally... And I discovered Aiue Oka right here a bunch of years ago already. Without E-Hentai, I'm sure there are tons of artists who would be less popular. As for commissions, yeah, it might be a grey area, but on the other hand, we're talking about works which aren't even getting translated by the official sources anyway, so it's not like they're interested in a market outside of Japan... And if they are, well, there's Fakku. Let me ask you a simple question: what is worst, someone who shares for free or someone who copies and makes money off of it? So yeah I'm not getting of my horsie, thanks but no thanks! Giddyup!

Is there an inside joke on this site where commentators take tracing and cosplay way too seriously? It's a pretty odd place for it, especially for how heated the comments can get.
