99% of the "bad" people in the Oysterverse ends well, so it's only logical that nothing bad happens with those two.
The one that died in the end, if some characters get's a "backstory" midway it's to show his "tragic" past and that he is one of the "victims", not one of the villains.

Something about the Oyster Extended Universe seems like it fits perfectly.

The characters are crazy and the chain of sorrow just compounds the misery and insanity every chapter. It might as well be considered snuff but,
