At least the EGA graphics era made heavy use of dithering to simulate other colours and dampen the brightness, they did what they could with what they had. This is the complete opposite, we can literally do billions of colours today on home computers and this lazy bugger is taking people's money and shitting out this eyecancer atrocity.
