What a cruel end for Naoyuki's relationship. That's definitely going to cause trauma. At least Rocket Monkey's story has been consistent in that regard: both Tomoki and Azusa were shit people and cowards for all three chapters.

I still see it as all parties being oblivious, immature, cowardly and/or bad at respectfully communicating and sorting out their feelings.

Obviously the ones cheating are the ones morally at fault, and the MC definitely went above and beyond to do things in the scummiest and most hurtful way possible (dude definitely had some baggage over not being picked when they were young), but I still find it easier to judge the situation as being generally fucked under the surface from the beginning.

It's interesting that that sort of situation can make us more mad than the sort of caroonishly villainous setups and motivations we often see.
