If you feel the original print quality image is too large, I will compile a smaller version sometime today and have it seeded in torrents. Usually when I scan I do so at ~600dpi to ensure no data loss, and the images are uncompressed TIFFs before I convert them for upload. (I cut the spines of my doujins to scan these so I can't read them again like normal people)

These are 16 bpc PNG files, which isn't all that useful for displaying on everyone's 8 bit precision monitors.
Resaving as 8 bpc will save a large amount of space with no significant difference for most people.

The whole point of archiving something is to replicate something for future use, so why lose color depth if I want to say print it out later in life?
Which is why I added a set of jpg images to the torrents too ^^

I second archiving at best quality possible. No disadvantage in future-proofing scans. Storage is gonna be much cheaper in the future anyway you'll ask even higher quality than the highest.
