Why are these big artist galleries always in some random order instead of the most useful order, most recent to oldest?

@timo4545 because sorting a crapload of images can be really tricky if you're not a programmer type who knows how to script things.
Other than that, no idea. I do my best but I can't speak for anyone else

It is kind of surreal though, how an image can hop from the third page 1, grouped with the other two like it, to being #188 while the other two are still 1 and 2.

It’s also harder to do it by hand with artists like this one that try many different art styles. You’d have to look exactly where you got them from, and try to cross-reference to figure out if when they were posted is equivalent to when they were made.

As for why they don’t just add whatever new pics they find to the front or back of the gallery when they update? Your guess is as good as fuckin’ mine. I believe ROBBOO uses scripts to rip images from various sites, so it’s probably just whatever code he uses to upload organizes by metadata or file name instead of when it was ripped.
