1. The "holographic memory / recording" image-series hit me deep in 'The Feels'. ;(

[EDITED]: It is even more tragic because, lore-wise, the Transformers race/species can live for THOUSANDS of years for their natural lifespans, before their 'Spark' ("life-force" &/or "soul") finally fades and expires (meaning, "dying of old age"); assuming they do not die from combat, illness (yes, they can get sick, just not from human/biological diseases, obviously), &/or accidents

2. I think I might have liked BumbleBee (2018 film) significantly better if they had taken a bold storytelling risk / step and gone with a definitive attraction- &/or romantic-angle between Charlie and 'Bee; as opposed to the more "safe choice" of Memo's "The Boy (or Girl) Next Door" angle & trope. A lightly touched-upon, but definitive, romance between worlds (literally!) would have made the "Parting of Ways" end-scene between Charlie and 'Bee far more poignant and emotionally-impactful to the audience.

Though to also be clear, I did not have anything against the Memo angle either; Memo definitely did earn his way to boyfriend-status with Charlie (or at least the start of such)

Good film, fuck its ending though. Stupid shit took me for a ride only to take it away from me. Good thing this exist to tide me over.

I'm not sure why Charlie and Bee just can't be friends, I mean I still like the porn, and I'm not sure I would have liked the film better if they decided to make it "The Shape of Water but with Transformers".

I enjoyed the friendship between Charlie and Bee throughout the film developing into sort-of a brother-sister or new-kid-from-another-country relationship. Obviously, they're not going to get romantically involved, but I can appreciate the porn.

Actually surprised there isn't more Transformers porn considering characters like Arcee (G1 and Prime), Strongarm, Blackaraccnia, Misha from Energon, Lori and Dr. Suzuki from Cybertron, and so on and so forth.

I find it sad the film didn't go for a total reboot and still had to tie-in to the previous movies, but I could say that this is the best out of everything. The first one being a contender.

In terms of human-bot relations, I think the one in Bumblebee is the closest to the kinds of relations we see in the cartoons. Animated, Prime, G1, and Armada/Cybertron having the best relations.
