That aside, I can't believe I'm saying this but, this whole plot with the history rewrite is really getting old... Usually I get a ton of mileage out of this kind of setup but...VR with the caveat that if it's suddenly interrupted/taken off you may get stuck in the VR setting? ... Real creative /s ....

BTW when are we getting a VR headset tag? I feel like there's enough doujins with this that its a thing already... I mean there's tags like adventitious vagina etc. why not VR headset too... It's quite impossible to search for this right now since "vr" is too short and I don't recall blindfold / eyemask being used to tag these galleries.

I'm OK with the trope (one of the signature ftsf plots), but this just seems like an average execution of it. IMHO the best part about this trope is showing the process of the MC fighting against it and gradually losing.

While this one does some of that with the inner monologue, it doesn't seem as polished as some of the earlier works from ftsf like the "Keep your personal info safe" story which involves gradual physical transformation, "Painted in gyaru colors" which involves an implied gradual mental character synchronization or even the earlier "Ring of revenge" (also from NOMU) which involves a bit of both. In this one the physical change is sudden and the MC's mental changes are also quick (w.r.t the story timeline).

Just my 2c on this.

Also DATE and Kouji have their own MO with the former mostly focusing on possession / skinsuit nowadays and the latter usually adding in humiliation of the MC to break them in.
