Shame. Red Sonja would be a great property prime for having tons of action-laced over the top violence, nudity, and sex. Instead, we get the most boring as fuck vanilla cheesecake, that's also typically horribly written and poorly drawn.

Red Sonya is a cool character. Is interesting to read how some writers describes how they defined her psychology as strong but ultimately flawed: she may be an heroine but has also serious issues. On the other hand, when others started to babbling about "world dominated by men" and how Red Sonja is a feminist example for female readers... oh oh, no good: sjw radar is beeping.

I liked how Anita bashed this character into the ground stating it was for the male power fantasy. Sonja as a kid was one of the first strong female leads ive seen in a comic. She is confident in her sexuality and her ability (with anger issues) but still a flawed character that grows/learns/etc. We need to stop having idiots preach that fantasy can't be fantasy because people who wouldn't touch it in the first place are offended. That's the whole point of comics and entertainment in general - escapism.
