So, funny thing here. Kama in Hindu Lore was killed by Lord Shiva for filling him with lust towards his new wife Lady Parvarti (it's a REALLY long story, and I suggest that those who haven't should really check it out), however, the kicker is this, Kama was also the son of one Lord Vishnu and Lady Lakshmi.
