I recently saw my first pair of episodes of "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Which were "Origami Tsunami" and "Donnie's gifts" and they were kind of a shock to the system.

- Leonardo's constant joking was grating, he reminded me of Human Torch in "Fantastic Four, the world's greatest heroes" another guy who has no idea how tiring he is.
- Raphael, big dumb jock.
- Donatello, obnoxious wise guy.
- Michelangelo still is Michelangelo, of all of them he's changed the least.

But I did notice that apparently "Apritello" still survives. Which gave me an idea, what if "Rise" Donnie and April end up in the 2012 universe and see their counter parts?

It was too good to pass up, so here's "Rise" Donnie and April being totally freaked out by 2012 series' world.

Anyone watch Turtles Forever?

According to Turtles Forever this comic above would also be part of their Multiverse.

@naruko

I found "Turtles forever" such a let down, the eighties Turtles were treated so badly, they behaved nothing like they did in the actual series.
- Not the right voices
- April Never said things such as "Holy scoop!"
- Crying on the 2003 Michelangelo's shoulder, oh god...
Luckily 2012 series episodes such as "The Manhattan project" (AKA "Wormquake"), "Transdimensional Turtles" and the "Wanted Bebop and Rocksteady" three part special put all of that right. They for one had the original voice cast (Cam Clarke - Leonardo, Townshend Coleman - Michelangelo, Barry Gordon - Donatello, Rob Paulsen - Raphael and Pat Fraley - Krang) and were written so they behaved like they would in their own series.

There's a really funny exchange between 87 Raphael and 2012 Donatello in "Transdimensional Turtles" Funny because both of them were voiced by Rob Paulsen.
Raph: (After having fought against his counterpart) Oh I'm gonna enjoy putting more cracks in that imposter's shell. And what's with you gappy, why does your voice sound so weird?
Donnie; ME sound weird? Have you heard yourself lately?

That whole trans dimensional Idea was what inspired me to do this comic and my "Karai versus Karai" comic.

@The great Saiyaman

I loved turtles forever as it addressed the campiness of the 80s turtles. I grew up with the original comic from Eastman and Laird so I was happy that the comic turtles got their respect. I did watched the 80s turtles but was very disappointed that they weren't like their comic counterparts.

@Apostates

Just wanted to let you know that I deeply appreciate the inability you create for me to say that I hate the RotTMNT April design without being accused of sharing the same sentiment.

No, but seriously, this April is garbage.
