all i'm seeing is, the mc was forced into getting drunk, the wife got raped after mc passed out, wife was forced into saying things that would satisfy the rapist (though idk if she actually really did enjoy it but "by force"), the wife probably in knowing that the husband still isn't "blacked out" because the amount of beverage wasn't enough to get him to pass out and then them both are crying in depression the day after, then the next time, they drink again but he stabs himself in order not to black out and the rapist running away for probably fear that the mc might end up killing himself if it continues and the mc and fmc being happily ever after...
