Solstice is upon us, and Yuletide, that men call Christmas though they know in their hearts it is older than Bethlehem and Babylon, older than Memphis and mankind - and here is book of culinary receipts for all the adventurous souls not afraid to wonder into precarious world of baking on the eve of Turning of the year.
