Alrite, this is my first(second actually :P) time trying to scan doujin ,and i noticed there are some bleed-through from the previous experience . Hence, i try to find some ways around to reduce it while preserving the colour and details.

Scanning in True Grey than in Colour seems to help out the bleedthrough a bit,but it changes the colour into the common black and white feel of most scanned doujin. This makes the page feels slightly artificial.

To deal with bleedthrough more effectively and the more bleedthrough i have ,the more background colour removal setting is needed. However, i would lose more details as some lines got eaten up.In addition, the 'brighter' the page will look. This does make it feel quite a lot more artificial compared to feel of the actual real doujin on my hand. Yikes!

In the end, it looks like it is a balance. To have clean, clear scan while preserving the detail and natural feel of it.

It would be great if someone can share how to do scanning better,so i can do a better scan for the next not-yet doujin i would have. I suppose image editing software?

This makes me want to see loli Nanoha pounding on Strikers Nanoha, time to see if that exists.
