As someone who has never played the Witcher games, but read the books, I really don't understand how Ciri turned out like this.

As someone whose read the books and completed them .I hate the rats it only goes downhill for her and the books in general.

The games are set after the books like 10 years so TW3 Ciri is 21 -25 . You can play the games without reading the books but it's so much better if you have . As a book reader the games miss a lot (not book accurate on a lot of things )but are worth playing mostly TW2 & 3 the first aged horribly .

I'm also at the part in the books where Ciri joins the rat and it's really a low point in the story for me. I've found Ciri in general to be a bad character. Doesn't help the story revolves around her more than Geralt. Least there's good fap material
