I don't see the point of the changing their name to Linkana. It wasn't even their choice to become female. Why not just continue being Link?

It's not like Link is a traditional male name.

@DinoCock HeartGear did a previous work called Gerudo Link, where Link was captured and turned into a Gerudo. This is presumably a sequel.

It's typically short for Lincoln, itself pretty uncommonly used.

EDIT: Also, they're in Kara Kara Bazaar, the oasis between Gerudo Town and the nearest stable.
