You know when you're drunk and your buddies leave you at the bar by yourself, when suddenly some older women comes over and starts hitting on you hard and you go to her condo and she screws your brains out....only to have you wake up and look at her man-face making you realize you made a huge mistake?

I really like how this is arranged chronologically. The stuff on the first few pages is obviously made by someone who is new to art, but there’s a steady progression that’s visible along the way from the beginning to the end. It’s a great reminder of how it takes a lot of work and time to get better at something, as well as the amount of effort that it takes to improve. People who don’t make art need to stop and appreciate those who do.

Thanks to the artist for sharing this with us. It’s brave to show earlier work where you see the flaws and shortcomings, especially at the front of a gallery. Ignore the comments that claim your art is terrible: they probably didn’t look beyond the first few pages nor read the note about these being in chronological order. Keep on keeping on and you’ll only get better.
