The English version of this book is here: /g/491878/1216a22e6f/

Translating is one way to help learn a language, so I've been taking shots at it. I'm not an expert and there are likely many mistakes and off sounding things in the translation, so if any Latin speakers happen upon this upload I'd appreciate any criticism.

Some notes on the translation:
In general, I tried to avoid unnecessary verbosity and preferred to omit words if they were not essential to the sentence. This is so that the prose can be as slender and lean as possible, just as Cicero would have wanted it. That said, compared to Cicero's comprehension of Latin I am basically an illiterate, so please lower your expectations warmly.

My source for sexual terminology and such was J.N Adams' "The Latin Sexual Vocabulary".

I have not, in all the time I've been doing this, been able to find a translation for the word "pervert", so where it appeared I rendered it into words that I felt were thematically similar (in this case "ferus" and "bestia", in the sense that one might call such a one a "brute" or "animal".) This is often clunky but the best I can do.

The word "fetish" is translated as "libido", with the object of the fetish following in the objective genitive. (Thanks to a good anon for bringing this to my attention.)

I conjugated names based on names of similar ending (in Nanoha's case) and just by translating (in Fate's case). "Fatus" being a fourth declension noun, and thus hardly ever changing, diminishes the visible effects of this, but I did it.

Lastly, don't use this to practice if you're a learner yourself. It has no Roman flair and stinks utterly of the English syntax and idiosyncrasy of a novice.

I'm not an expert by any means, but wouldn't "depravatus" be an appropriate translation for pervert?

Anyone else see the meme about traveling in time to seduce Cleopatra and they mention they would get Julius Caesar addicted to Hentai? It has begun.

Amo te. Mea latina est cupere quia interruptio

Cupio dicere hunc: mortua lingua est difficilis legere quia glossarium est necesse plurimo.
Tamen amo legere latinam!

@Totally Legit
Its nature as a participle and not a noun might make it difficult but yes, it would probably be better than what I used. I was unaware of that word, thank you.

Ergo non tantum legendum, sed scribendum est nobis.
Vale
