I really don't understand why there needs to be a light and a darkside when the truth of the Force was made clear right from the beginning, Balance is the true way of the Force, you can't have light without creating darkness, and how would you know the darkness was there if there wasn't light to contradict it? Why every Sith Lord and Jedi Master ever has never come to this conclusion and walked the middle is beyond me, and yes I know there was such a person in the EU but unless they plan on making those canon again I feel better not trying to memorize what is now pretty much just fan fiction.
