I've read a few ongoing web series porn and non-porn and one thing they have in common 85% of the time is after the first act, the series gets darker as time goes on.

Now, Shapeshifter hasn't necessarily gotten DARK but it's Ice Skating on the line and while I'm not expecting a gorefest the tone definitely feels like it's prepping us for some bad times.

The art is very good. The story is all over the place and very sad. Like, it was transformation porn before. Now it's trying to be American Gods and transformation porn too? I'm not sure.

I remember when this comic series first came out and the pages were banging out like a printing press. Now it's like a slow drip of maybe 1-2 pages a month or less at best. Also we're getting a little to deep into the edgy shit that it's starting to make me cringe.

I get the feeling Lemonfont himself doesn't like this comic or just doesn't have the willpower to give it more attention, quality became pretty low, especialy compared to his other works. It would be much better if he made a restart. Or gotten the balls to finish what he started,

It's just how i see it...Backgrounds too often are pretty messy...I dunno. Maybe he just uses diffrent artstyle for this one. Just compare it to his other works that are ongoing right now.
