Yeah, scratch the weeb speech and it would be a pretty good find. I don't get why it's used in so many western imitations, the only time Japanese in such comics serves some kind of purpose is when it's used to express something that doesn't really have an English equivalent, like honorifics or certain words that have nuances that would be lost.
