But i agree with what you said about blackmailed victims, at least in hentai. Some authors depict their characters as if getting blackmailed was more a present than a punishment. Not every character out there is like this, of course, we see a lot of character really suffering til they fall, but some like the dude in this story just use it as an excuse to fuck someone else.

Also, about what you said about this being wish-fulfillment and NTR being more dark and bitter. Thats why i dont consider this one to be netorare. The boy aint netoraring his gf, its just blackmail+cheating, and the girl aint netoraring her bf, he asked for it so its netorase (swinging). If there is a sequel where the two of them bring their relationship beyond what we have seen? Then maybe we could cout it as netorare, but at it is now it isnt.
