What's really fucked up about this situation is that assuming that the original girlfriend is working as a housewife she has to somehow move out that day, or deal with getting cucked for a while for not having any money of her own whereas in the reverse the boyfriend probably owns the apartment and employment, and would just have them out by the end of the day or sooner.
