To anyone who has an issue with Patrick constantly getting cucked, please consider the following:
1.) Nightshade is a known dominatrix. Whenever she's been shown to actually hook up, she's always been in control. The way she acts with guys around Patrick is entirely for his benefit. That's not her normal attitude towards sex. If she was Really attracted to those men, she'd be trying to shove giant strap-ons up their ass, like she wants to do with Patrick.
2.) Outside of what is seen in the comics, these characters have personalities and traits beyond sex. Nightshade is with Patrick because he's a nice guy, and is accepting of her personality and lifestyle choices. The same is true of Patrick being with Nightshade. She's smart and he enjoys her personality, and she is accepting of His lifestyle choices.
And, for all those people who ask 'What is special about Patrick':
3.) Patrick is a giraffe. He may not have the biggest dick in-universe, but if he's like his sister (and there's no reason to think he's not) what he does have is a Massive tongue, and being as the two used to fuck, he probably knows just as well how to use it as she does.And, when it comes to which is better in the bedroom, well; Diamond went for the giraffe tongue, not Sebastian's big dick.

Now, I don't like Patrick being cucked. As far as I'm concerned, even with consent, cucking someone is tantamount to cheating on them. Just because Patrick is okay with it doesn't make it okay in my eyes.
I also get why people don't like it. Kadath does good art, and makes interesting and memorable characters, to the extent that the viewers tend to forget that that's all they are: Characters. In our eyes, we're not seeing pictures of cartoons. What we see is someone we like (Patrick) being put through an experience (cucking) the majority of us find repulsive. Given Nightshade is the only common denominator in this, we blame her. That or Kadath, the person in control of it all... Which is just unfair.

Oh, and to everyone who complains about people paying to get scenes of their OCs cucking Patrick:
Put your money where your damn mouths are, and pay Kadath to put out scenes of the two doing NOT THAT. Kadath works on commission. Pay for scenes of Nightshade and Patrick exploring some of her fetishes, why don'tcha.

Instead of flipping the bird to the "haters" (poor choice of words for people who CLEARLY enjoy the bulk of your work, Kadath, otherwise they wouldn't bother commenting on it), how about you try MAKING IT CLEAR to the audience? I've had SO many defenders tell me that Patrick likes being cucked, but why should I need THEM to say it instead of the art speaking for itself? Every time we see Nightshade and Patrick sharing panel time with another cock, he just looks like he's tolerating it for HER sake, and she ALWAYS looks FAR more enthusiastic to be with them than she EVER is when she's just with Patrick. There are too many times when it's just the TWO of them, and he looks outright TERRIFIED of her, if not just very very uncomfortable. For the love of God, throw us a narration box giving us a glimpse into Patrick's psyche as he's watching his girl get plowed by another guy... This comment section is why artists are becoming more militant with killing sites like this one. Pray that the artist doesn't delete your hard thought out headcanon by having any of his related galleries expunged and going behind pateron lockdown due to your upvoted hate.

Your "constructive criticism" is about 100+ words of you bitching about how a character is portrayed that doesn't match your fetish. You don't know shit about the character past what you assume from whatever content you see from the artist that is updated on here. But from that lack of information you determine that Patrick is a prisoner in an abusive relationship with a hyper controlling bitch? Have you ever considered that the artist is taking commissions where the client asks for Patrick to look absolutely destroyed while Nightshade becomes a complete slut for bigger cocks? Patrick has a very cuckable face and Nightshade's confidence could be easily worked into her being a turboslut who cucks her BF on the regular. Not to mention them being a giraffe and an anubis. I would pay good money to have a comic like that because the fetish matches so perfectly to the setting.

But even if it's a perfect portrayal, the canon material proves that the portrayal is mere coincidence. Nightshade is a confident domme whom only hates Diamond and is in a loving relationship with Patrick. Puzzle and her are chill and Dynamite, due to her social anxiety, feels intimidated by her confidence.

Nightshade is a woman with a good head on her shoulders, an awesome boyfriend, and doesn't take anyone's shit. @dope Oh just stop with that crap you're spewing, those complaints are completely legit for this case. Not everyone's got the author's insight as to what goes on in these characters' heads, and to anyone not aware of these peeps, it does come across as a toxic relationship. You'd be surprised how powerful a first impression makes on anyone. Some minute narration that gives some insight during these scenes would clear up a lot of misconception between the two.

My only issue is that it seems like nightshade is the only one allowed to have partners. Seems like she gets very possessive when it comes to Patrick and other women. Sounds like a one sided poly relationship. If that's true then it does seem like a toxic relationship.

You know the problem is Kadath tries to make Nightshade into one of those lovable bitchy characters but never gives her any likable traits or redeeming qualities, so she's just a bitch at the end of the day, I'm sure her relationship with Patrick is supposed to be one of the things about her that's supposed to be likable but Kadath has just devolved their relationship into Patrick being a spineless cuckold and Nightshade being a cheating slut.
It never even makes it look like Patrick actually enjoys it like Kadath claims.
