There are obviously SOME cases where it's in a good light. But then even in those cases, people will still project all their experience with the worst of the BBC/raceplay tropes onto it.

Also there's no racism anywhere in this. While it does lean on a stereotype or two (let's pretend having a big dick in a porn comic is bad), not once is his ethnicity brought up by anyone. That alone is a startling amount of restraint on display. The closest we got was a couple of jokes about "black magic" and focus testing. He's portrayed as being desirable because he's hot af and good at sex (to the point that the central "conflict" is that he's having so much sex he may be hurting their reputation), not because he's black and therefore better than white guys. People need to get outta your own asses.
