Second, given that the magic involved has already mentally adjusted themselves to subconsciously talk like they were always in their new bodies, and allowed them to know about their current home, it's safe to say that the magic probably let them adjust to their new lifestyles as well. I personally prefer this route, as the other way is having everyone look at them like they're crazy as they have a breakdown trying to find a way back to their time, assuming there is one.
