Translation isn't just doing a verbatim Jap>Eng conversion, so just because a word is missing doesn't mean the content is altered. she says - つい意地張って 見る約束しちゃった That 'miru' you're concerned about is combined with yakusoku and translated to 'promise' only, with the watching part being implied from last page.
