English MTL of Gallery "A Compilation Of Several Tutorials On How to Draw Anime Eyes For Both Begginers And Expert Artists" found here -> /g/1142115/7f8f439bc6/
This was all done through google translate. Some images did not come out the best, like ones with diagonal text, but few are the case.
Most of the straight forward words help guide along in these images. I do not speak, read, or write Japanese.
Translated word notes:
"Kage" = Shadow "Tree" = ? "Gradation" can be assumed to be gradient, blending, or just smoothing in general. take it as you will. "cumming" = ?
File Names: File names have been kept the same so they can retain their hyphen.
Sorting: Files have been kept sorted in the order that they were saved in the original. I have chosen not to use an auto-sorting method to avoid confusion with the original gallery.
Formats: All file formats are originally kept. Few images have been upscaled so that the text can be more readable when going through MTL.
Upscale: Upscaled page 376 so text was more readable when translated.
Images removed: Images of a fully painted eye with no steps in between or after, or the image before or after being by the same artist or showing any relation to it was removed. Page 271 also existed as it full drawing, but also had images of itself split into each. The individuals were removed but the 'full' image was kept. One image that was a unanimated .gif got away. My apologies.
I got page 376 mixed up during the process while trying to translate an upscaled version of it. I mistakenly uploaded the original smaller upscale in Japanese. Google won't spit out the upscaled resolution when I translate it for some reason. Apologies in advance for any confusion or inconvenience. I'm not sure if this warrants a re-uploading of the gallery just for one image. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll try to reupload/update the gallery, I am new to uploading to it might take a while to figure that out. Thank you.
Translation note update: In regards to "Tree" word being present in pages such as; 49-68, 371, ""Slanted eyes" would probably be the most general term for that word, but apparently people also say "almond-shaped eyes," though I'm not sure I've heard it before myself The reason Google Translate got stuck is because "tsuri" is written in katakana there. I'd recommend using DeepL or possibly even ChatGPT or Copilot if you're going to do machine translation, Google Translate is notoriously pretty bad."
thank you anonymous translation buddy for the help.
