There is a bonus short story that you can get by buying the third volume together with one of the previous ones. From what I've read on 2ch, this short story is pretty much like an extended ending where we could even see a pregnant Yuiko. There's no way to buy this online, so if someone could actually get their hands on it and scan it, it'd be amazing.

The third and final volume of Gekkakou no Ori - The Tuberose's Cage.

This volume includes 48 new pages (2 new shorter chapters and a brief epilogue) along with numerous revisions to the existing content, such as script modifications, outfit redesigns, and minor additions here and there.

Despite the numerous additions(and what Sanbun himself said on Twitter), the direction of the story remains unchanged from the serialized version. We do get deeper access into the minds of Yuiko, her husband, and Manji, with a significant emphasis on her husband's thoughts and feelings.

We get to see that the cage ensnaring Yuiko is none other than her own family, but unlike many readers thought, her hesitancy to break free doesn't stem from a sense of obligation or guilt. On the contrary, she is fully prepared to sever ties with them, but her husband vehemently refuses to let her go.

He is using their family as leverage to keep her inside the cage, simply because he doesn't want her to start a brand new life with Manji. Perhaps he thinks that by doing this, he doesn't allow Manji to have a complete "win" over him, but that's just pathetic imo.

I plan on revisiting and translating all three volumes during this summer, but it will take some time because the story is just massive.

For the Sanbun fans out there, it looks like we're gonna some more stories in the future, but nothing is confirmed, so take this with a grain of salt:

- A sequel for Kaname's story - (/g/2826754/6bfc3b21f7/)
- A new long story serialized in Koime, maybe starting in September.

That’s going to be a massive undertaking, but considering majority of it is translated already, with the exception of the new scenes added in each volume. Unless more was changed between the serialized version to the tankoubon version.
So the “cage” is Yuiko’s own family and if given the chance, she would leave them? Where does this come from? In the afterword, I heard he planned several endings, one is similar to Winter’s Hydrangea and the other where Yuiko gets pregnant, but Miyoshi leaves her?

Not only has he not done a story with that white haired woman, he still hasn’t done with another character who also appears in that Gekkan Jujuko Tengoku magazine. An office lady with a son on college and a daughter in high school. There are several of his past works that he wants to continue.

Another thing I found out, is that Sanbun Kyoden is the student of mangaka Kitsune Tennouji who wrote Eden’s Bowy, Orfina, and Upotte!!! It’ll be interesting to see them create a manga together with Kyoden doing the art and Tennouji doing the writing.

@DatOneGuy21: Most of the pages have already been translated, but some dialogue has changed. The real pain will be to go through each version and compare the script to see what changed.

As for the "cage", Manji's control over Yuiko has grown so strong that she's willing to forsake her family, even though she still loves them. She already left them once when her affair was exposed, and even though she returned, she did it with Manji's consent. Her husband's willingness to take her back and uphold the illusion of a happy family has erected this cage around her, leaving her torn between her duties to her family and her love and loyalty towards Manji. The pleasure she gets from being with Manji makes her numb and allows her to forget any external things. When he's done with her, he can just throw her back to her family, where she must grapple with feelings of guilt.

Based on the comments from 2ch, the short story goes a bit deeper into the dynamics and future fate of Yuiko and her family. Sadly, I don't think we will ever see that short story.

Yeah, I noticed her expression after the sex show, where she knows her husband was watching was that of guilt and shame, despite only minutes ago, she was drowning in pleasure. And in the short epilogue, where she was aroused when Miyoshi texted her, but had a look of guilt. It feels like Yuiko hasn’t forgiven herself for choosing to run away with Miyoshi, instead of trying to work things out with her family. Eventually, this might cause her to have a mental breakdown.

@umwork Hi, I'm the one who edited the first tank and I planned to do the same thing for the second in my opinion you should just do this one I have all the chapters of the second tank translated even the bonus chapters, it's just that I didn't have the time to do it but now that the third tank is out I have no choice. if I remember correctly, the only untranslated pages are in the last chapter of the first tank (they were translated using machine translation because no one wanted to do it)
