Oh it's way worst than that. Not only is she cheating on him the whole time, and by cheating she literally starts living as the dude's girlfriends, some times staying overnight and cooking and shit, it's not just sex. Then spoilers by the way, they turn her husband kinda crazy and abusive. I think we're one chapter away form ending last chapter everything blew up at their wedding. Of course that was three months ago? That's the other thing there were months between chapters.

The author decided to swap the boyfriend and ex characters almost at the middle of the story so far. We went from the kind loving husband with a perfect life to he's actually the biggest cuck in town because why the fuck not? All in just a couple of chapters of course and out nowhere... because we need to make the ex the sympathetic character. Surely this guy that came out of nowhere to cuck this nerd and has been living half of the story with this dude's fiancée is the hero we need.
Now the ex has a long ass detailed backstory about him being abused by his parents, eventually sold and pimped to women but only to extremely sexy ones (Oh the misery) and now he's the nicest guy on earth. The boyfriend's story is that he fucked up big time with girl in highschool and now he's going to spend the rest of his days miserably and suffer until he dies. To "balance" this author decided to turn him into an obsessive pathetic broken guy, surely that will make us hate him.

It's just ridiculous but the worst part about is not that the author want us to root for the NTRman and shit on the boyfriend is the fact he is unironically writing this with the fiancée being a victim when during this entire story has been a terrible cheater that can't just close her legs, actually stand and leave. Now we watch her slowly ruin everything and pretend she is suffering or something... I guess she really can't resist his massage!

Totally agree, I think I'm only still reading because I'm kinda stuck although I m guessing the ending we're going to see is the Fiancee has starter a new life and the Boyfriend is going to show up and sweep her off her feet. Also it's funny that we still got the Wedding, I think the author forgot that several chapters ago, so some time last year he Fiancée called and cancelled or put everything on hold, because he suspected she was cheating on him. I think this was right before he started going really crazy. If I'm remembering correctly.

The story ended some months ago. Basically, she puts all the blame on herself and decides to divorce and break up with her ex.
Now she lives alone, without social interaction but her ex still waits for her.
During the wedding day, the husband threatened the ex to never interact with her again after she said to both of them that she wanted to live alone cause she was the one to blame for all.
I think it's a pretty coherent ending with the characters, I liked how it ended. Probably with a better translation, I could understand some more details cause I machine-translated the raw chapter.

Thank you!! I didn't notice that ComicFesta had marked it as complete. She didn't quite get the happy ending with the boyfriend I expected so I was assuming there was at least one more chapter left. I can't say I was happy with the ending, but I also didn't like what I felt was a character change for the husband. And I think the last chapters were particularly all over the place. The husband canceling the wedding, hinting that he might be into being cucked, it felt like there was a lot being thrown in for the ending. I was never happy with the ex-boyfriend becoming the hero, either so I am predisposed to being more critical then normal.

They had a lot of chemistry together, more than with her husband. The ex is kinda a hypocrite cause he was the first to rape her and do all kinds of rope and dildo plays, but when the husband does the same (in a more deranged and abusive way) she gets PTSD from the raping attempt when she was younger.
She and her husband could never be a true match together cause he idolizes her, and she has a lot of insecurity cause her past, the ex understands her better but he is the one who ruined her life in the first place. There is no hero in this story, every character has its flaws, for this reason, I think the ending is fitting.

This author and Peter Mitsuru (and probably many other long form mangakas) have a problem. They really want to write stories. However, they chose to write their stories in hentai while catering (or self satisfying) particular fetishes. Cuckoldry, swinging, cheating, rape you name it. So while they want to inject more drama into the narrative, they also are bound to include 1 or 2 sex scenes per chapter. And with most of the sex scenes involving the protagonists, there will be a severe disconnect between the sex and the story. For me, this is the main reason most of the characters seem retarded or broken beyond repair (some are just badly written though).

It's a pity. I would totally give my money to a mangaka who would write a more grounded, fetish-neutral story, with good sex scenes, in which most of the characters didn't behave like retards and/or sociopaths.

@toticollector I say it's more an issue of a tiny bit of everything.
The author has his own ideas but can't come up with a good way to add them into the story, those ideas might be like you mentioned his own taste and fantasies and that implies they might meddle somewhere in the story. Another batch of problematic ideas are simply trying to appeal to everybody to please the biggest amount of people possible and I can understand the author for doing that. When you are being serialized all eyes are onto you and for many authors this could be the start of something big for them or just want to add a good high quality work to their portfolio but at the same time you named a few issue that plague this work: NTR and then rape but suddenly now it's vanilla but it's actually cheating but nevermind it's just some drama but wait there's more now there's blackmail and we are back to rape... And by the end it's NTRS. Like there's a thing called too much when trying to cover every single base to please every single customer or trying to attract new readers.

A lot of authors probably write themselves to the wall trying to put every thing they can think of, a lot of them are just bad like Peter Mitsuru who has been writing his story riding on the notion that "it's just one big misunderstanding dude lmao" and it's ridiculous. Akira Aono's current work is straight up pants on head retarded with some of the most stupid characters he could have come up with and the most of ridiculous situations he can write breaking all kind of logic. The author of this work tried to give it a spin by making the anti-hero (Lol) sympathetic and trying to humanize him but at the end of the day he's still an asshole that couldn't hold his boner in front of this girl and raped her, his backstory is wishy washy ridiculous shit where we are supposed to feel bad because he gets laid by hot cougars and milfs with money but at the end frankly no one cares about it. The girl is also a piece of shit who just can't say no and walk herself into sex and only feel pity post-nut clarity, regret it for a day and then fuck her ex the next day.

If you are like me sometimes I just wonder if I'm reading the wrong material. Maybe a josei drama would be better.
It's like wanting to jerk off and you grab a lingerie catalog and fap to it, like yeah sure it has girls and they are wearing skimpy clothes but you could have just grabbed an actual porno magazine and get a more focused way superior experience.
95% of these serialized "NTR with a story" are terribly disappointing I don't know what motivates them to derail their stories with some of the most dumb or ridiculous shit. @Yukipo, indeed, too much of everything. At this point there simply is no story so what was the point? I can't empathize with any of the characters. The MC, with his is "oh so tragic" backstory is still a sociopath. The FMC is plainly retarded, crying so much for all the betrayal but even after the MC forced himself on her several times, she still goes to him. The husband only becomes sentient when the "plot" requires him to. It's a mess and worse: it's an unfappable mess!
