In case you are wondering what's going on; basically the girl will turn into a forest if nothing is done. The boy says something which makes her return to normal (ie a regular size girl). Then the other guy starts firing this sound gun which is supposed to turn her back into a giant, but the boy puts his headphones on her so the sounds can't reach her. In the end, the boy grows a bit taller and deserves a kiss (since in the previous chapter it became apparent that the girl only likes boys taller than her).

CHAPTER NUMBERING CONFUSION
If you're confused by the order and naming of this series, that's because it's known under two names: Nonscale and Scale Model. The thing is, Nonscale is the very first comic introducing the characters. It's also the only translated one out there. Scale Model is basically a sequel, except they start with their own chapter numbering. So the reading order is like this:
Nonscale (one-shot)
Scale Model ch1
Scale Model ch2

My guess is that the artist made more after getting a good reception on the initial one-shot, and he probably found out in the meantime that Nonscale is Engrish. Just speculatin'.

(Wish I knew more Kanji. There seems to be a lot of recurring Kanji in this one so maybe I'll make a craptastic half-translation at some point. Maybe.)

Hey thanks, that's pretty cool. I already have pretty good software that can search by stroke count (gjiten, Linux only I believe) but this'll help if I just click on the radicals.

I know first- and second-grader Kanji and some other random assorted characters, so that's bound to help, but this comic just has too many I don't know or can't place into (Kanji-connected) context by mind.
