I think this is more NTR than cheating. To cheat, they have to be in a relationship, which they are not. NTR does not require an actual relationship but there does have to be obvious indications that the two have mutual feelings, as such, this does not exactly fit as NTR either. However, NTR as a genre, depends heavily on how it makes the readers feel and, depending on if you're a Tessa fan or not, this could be considered soft-core NTR in that sense.

Anyways, a scene somewhat similar to this did happen in the actual original story; she thought she was dreaming and came on to Sousuke pretty hard. Lucky bas- I mean, poor guy.
