Its not even that shr lived yhe manager. It's more that her sense of self was destroyed. She betrayed her boyfriend for casual sex and was forced to do it in front of him. i agree with alot of these comments. the point of the story is that most heroines of NTR stories that havent been drugged or mind controlled usually stay with the bad guy for unexplained in-story reasons but it can be assumed like in this that its more of a self preservation of their ego or deluded sense of self the poor decisions they made are so cataclysmic to them that to face that reality could destroy them (which is why i always suggest in NTR stories for the girl to see her love get it on with someone else as such a shock, the sheer realization that the new girls happiness could have been hers would destroy her) nobody likes to get the business end of a 'mind break' so to try and avoid that she rationalizes her situation so she can better swallow that pill but the sad part is she will eventually break, either by abuse or drugs and if she makes it out there will be no-one left to help her as she is plastered across XXX stores and the internet with a broken body only good for cheap pleasures as her only pillar the 'manager' will 100% ditch/lose her to the underworld. she will bend and break the she will be left out to rot like the scum she chose to associate with in a vain attempt to justify her actions
