I appreciate your work on translating the sound effects, but stuff like "buruburu" or "pushaapushaa" etc. made no sense for english speakers. That's because every language has different interpretation on sounds (what's that called? Onomatopoeia?). I suggest changing them to more familiar stuff like "twitch" or "slurpslurp" etc. Just a suggestion, as a Macross fan I really love this.
