They released three OG games. There just wasn't a market for them.

They really should make a RTS game for Super Robot Wars.

@lixiaofossil: The team behind the Gundam game Zeonic Front (called "Rainbow Six with giant robots") made two similar games for SRW, called Scramble Commander. Haven't played them myself, but I'm told they were pretty bad.

Alberio, That's incorrect.

ATLUS licensed the first two episodes of Original Generations under a multi-game deal on GBA, while Sony pretty much have been sitting on sub-licensing Super Robot Wars Original Generations, which is the previous game to 2nd OG, and Super Robot Wars Original Generations Gaiden, since it would be too expensive to record english vocals for what seems to be a niche title.

If Sony, tomorrow, approved, under the same kinds of deals that will be getting Europe a digital-only release of Project Diva, Super Robot Taisen Original Generations 2, Namco Bandai would get a publisher very quickly, maybe even do it in-house, but, right now, it's too risky, in Sony's eyes only, to localize it.
