Main mistake of the colorization: whoever was colorizing this, painted demons black even though they're supposed to be dark-purple by default (original artist stated that several times in the past), thus ruining the original idea.

I honestly feel colorizations by an outside source tends to hinder the original artist's work. It makes something that looks good in monochrome fairly drab. Not to say there aren't good colorizations, just not too many to be found. That said, Black Dog is good either way.

I've said this before, but the only way to truly colorize something properly is to recreate the line art sans the original, monochrome coloring. Then, you get a true coloring effect. There's a fair number of non-H fan art from manga that does this, but then they are only doing a single page or image, not an entire chapter.
