Gyaru is basically when the girl looks like...well, the one in this gallery.
They're pretty typical, a little outlandish compared to "traditional" japanese girls, but really no different than those white girls who basically do the same thing
Ganguro, though, has a LOT more make-up and quite a bit more outlandish dress styles.
