The movement is really stiff, less like the characters are in transit and more like they're merely changing position. Pages 2 & 3 especially: you get no real sense of movement for nami's slap, just that it moves from one place to another. The way the panels are placed is good--diagonally down, climaxing with the slap to imply motion, draws the readers eyes through the correct chronological order of events--but the actions in those panels just don't feel like they're really happening. Similarly, Luffy's arm in page 3, panel 2 doesn't look like it's curving in the natural "lasso" shape; rather, it looks sharply bent in to corners, like a square. Then the panel after that, we see his arm gained gurth for no explained reason, so there's not alot the audience has to go on to connect the bridge between those two panels: we're left wondering what happened between the panels that wasn't shown. Wish I had advice to rectify this because the illusion of movement plays a huge part in making any sort of comic; even in hentai, you need to give the impression that things are moving when Luffy, er, "shivers her timbers." Figures themselves aren't bad, perhaps a bit awkwardly proportioned at parts. A background would be nice.
