Wo! Comics is a successor to the prehistoric Joy Comics series, as they share the same magazine code. Both are/were published by Sun Shuppan. Magazine Magazine was absorbed by Sun circa 2010, hence the relation with this title.

yeah, Joy comics and Wo! comics are both in 5121x- code systems but there is about 30 years gap, can't say it is a direct successor, actually most authors from B・Men's series (21 titles) moved to Sun-comics X series (3 titles), then Wo! comics, that's why I'm saying it is a precursor.
