I always am a bit sad at seeing Stephanie Brown (Batgirl #4). Brown really deserved a longer tenure as Batgirl (less than a year?). Not only did she earn it, having fought and bled in the service of the Bat-family as Spoiler, alongside Robin #4 (Tim Drake); but she also honored the overall history of Batgirl, bringing back the adventurous & flirty action-girl style that Barbara Gordon had during her time as Batgirl #2 in her (Gordon's) youth.

Cassandra Cain (Batgirl #3) was also good too, with her incredible combat skills, but counter-balanced by her personal struggles in dealing with her brain-dysfunctions and dyslexia.

It was a pitifully cheap move to toss both Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain into the RetCon trash-bin just to shoehorn Barbara Gordon back into being Batgirl with the DCnU reboot. :(

1) Stephanie Brown
2) Cassandra Cain
3) Barbara Gordon (who is better as Oracle)
