...that ending was somehow incredibly depressing. The heroine is now trapped in a loveless/sexless marriage, the protagonist is unable to move on from a hopeless relationship (which will either end the second either of them gets bored with the sex or explode violently the second that the husband finds out) and even if the relationship DOES last in the long term, the kids are going to grow up in a incredibly screwed up home. More importantly, the relationship is self-destructive (given the fact that she ended up making the protagonist lose his chance of securing a long-term job, the protagonist is just running around in a holding pattern for the heroine in his old school, and neither of them are willing to force the other to change) and it's just biting them all in the ass. I hate applying logic to the Hentai-verse, but this ending just left a bad taste in my mouth.
