Reply to old question here but yeah, I dont believe Maya was ever canonically amputated. Those pictures from the manga are just extras. There are more of extra stuffs like showing her having piercings and wearing armors in the first comic which never happened in the reprints. Anothing thing to note is that the picture showing her having artificial limb and got amputated is after the end of the story of volume 2 (after the page that says "dorei senshi maya II END"). Not to mention that there was supposed to be a continuation of the series but it never happened because the creator passed away.
