What's so new about this censorship law? Censorship is censorship. The fact that these h-doujin creators just bow their heads, as oppose to fighting this system of sexual repression, is what saddens me the most.

meh, these censorship crackdowns come and go in waves, once the porn police feel they've been taken seriously enough and the politicians have either been voted out or moved on to the next tactic to stay in office the cycle will begin again....

Those laws were put on the books in 1906. MacArthur's failing was not forcing explicit censorship to be removed along with other forms of government censorship, he didn't create it though.
