@Rakuko: Kizlan explained that the title is a pun that can not be translated to english, here is his explanation.

討 (pronounced Tou=assault/suppress)
魔 (pronounced Ki=demon)
伝 (pronounced Den=legend/story)

while Hellabunna titled his book
討 (pronounced Tou=assault/suppress)
姫 (pronounced Ki=maiden)
伝 (pronounced Den=legend/story)

It sounds the same, but the meaning is completely different, that's why he chose to keep "Toukiden" with the "Assaulted maiden Legend" subtitle.
