No offense intended, but does this really even qualify as cosplay? Sure, she's an attractive girl, but at best she's dressed vaguely similar to one image of MJ (if you allow for the heels and the removal of a lot of fabric) and not even a particularly iconic one. She just looks like a hot red head in skimpy clothes. I wouldn't have guessed she was supposed to be cosplaying Mary Jane without the helpful label. I dunno, maybe the cosplay scene has different standards than mine...

@Greymane At the very least I'd say this is terrible cosplay, but to her credit, MJ isn't exactly an easy character to cosplay with her lack of inscrutable characteristics. It's actually based on a pretty iconic cover J. Scott Campbell did, albeit with less fabric. If you're familiar with the image, it's pretty much instantly recognizable. If you google "J. Scott Campbell Mary Jane" it's literally the first one that comes up. Brickcity also has a good point she's pretty much hitting all the notes there are to hit for an MJ cosplay, which are few and far between. Her deviantart gallery is worth a look as well, plenty of more traditional cosplay there if this isn't your thing...

@Greymane - You're right, but at the same time, I think it's rather hard to cosplay as MJ without the Spiderman label on her shirt. She's a civilian character and doesn't really have any street clothes that can be considered "iconic" outside of maybe this skimpy outfit.

Gwen Stacey on the otherhand seems to be much easier... They all just put on the clothes she died wearing and if you're a SPiderman fan, you'll immediately know who she's cosplaying as.

First, I thought the 90s cartoon MJ had a rather distinct easy to recognize look, however she's also fully clothed.
