Apollo-kun, you can rip the images out of a pdf easily with pdfimages (it comes in a package called Xpdf among other utilities). That program allows you to extract the images without loss of quality, even when they are jpg files inside. The programs don't require installation, you only need to run the tool from the command prompt (a.k.a. DOS or cmd.exe). You need to add the parameter -j if you want to extract the compressed images as jpg (without losing further quality, since the program does not recompress). The uncompressed images will be extracted either as ppm, pgm or pbm files; you can convert them to png with Irfan View. It's pretty linear and fast once you know how to do it, there's no quality loss and there's no need to make screenshots and save or anything like that.
