The archives that I upload to my site are fully organized by source material, with one appropriately named folder for each anime/manga/game/whatever.

You make it sound like the resampling system is evil and there is no way around it. On resampled images, there's always a link at the bottom of the image to reload the original untouched version, and if you have the hath perk Source Nexus the setting to always load the untouched version becomes available.

More importantly, downloading using the archive download system always sends you the original untouched version.
