2,5 stars is exactly that - AVERAGE. 0,5 stars (since you can't give 0, even though there are galleries that deserve it) would be shit, 5 stars is a masterpiece, so how do you mark something that's somewhere between? Not exactly cancer inducing, but not good? That's right - you give it middle score, so somewhere between 2,5 and 3 stars.
