I had pretty much lost all faith in the artist as the Kill Me as a Sacrifice to Mother series turned out to be really, really badly written, but this looks really good and a nice change of pace from the artist's usual 'MANRAPE' stuff.

... Well it looks like he got over his fear/hatred of women.
He's even playing pitcher instead of catcher for a change... sadly when he catches, he catches HARD.:(

So no, Itamu's life is still miserable and he may have accepted it as karmaic retribution for strangling his mom to death (or at least that's how I interpreted the third story). As far as I can tell other than spin-off stuff (Makino's family being full of dickgirls comes into play when an older sister visits and fucks her, Ayase sleeping around with men) the artist has stepped away from KillAS stuff for the time being.
